Well, I fired up Johnny D today and used it.

Here is what I did:

1.) Rode to up the hill to top of driveway to get mail and emptied trashcan.
2.) Pulled stuck car out of my driveway (up hill).
3.) Hauled in firewood.

All in all, it's not a bad tractor. In looking it over, it has seen better days....pretty rough around the edges. It is nice having power (and size) to drag a car up a hill without any problem. It's definately more tractor than I would ever need around here! Oh, and my 5' backblade looks really stupid on the back of this thing!

My dealer is excellent. This is the main reason why I ended up with a NH. Beside that, I liked NH the best anyway.

Don't look a gift horse in the mouth. What if it grows on you and it has to be returned ? Don't get too attached to paint color... it is only microns thick !!

We hear more about bad dealers than good ones. You should give your dealer a little publicity for beeing good. Post his name so any one in your area looking for a tractor or service will know where to go.

I agree good dealers are hind to find,,... in NH MB Tractor has been excellent both at time of sale and during some minor warranty issues

I like the idea of having a different color; Now you can see how it operates, if it is user friendly and what you like and do not like . If there are features you like; contact CNH and tell them that you like the xyz feature on JD. Please make this otin available on CNH equipment.

Hey, I have a tc33d When my dealer had mine I never saw a loaner. Maybe that is why its no longer there. You have a good dealer.

Got to go (busy) like a one legged man in a butt kicking contest..

It must be nice. My dealer was great too... until he went belly up. Now I feel bad about buying greases and lubes from Wal-Mart, and sundries from HF. I bet if everyone had supported them, they would still be in business. Lesson learned: Take care of your dealer as much as he takes care of you.

Color? What color? I think we should save our loyalty for people, not mechanical contraptions. I've never had a machine return my love and loyalty. Maybe it's my breath... :D
