I have a Quick Release bucket on my new NH 45a. Is there anything special I need to know when shopping for an attachment for this? For instance for a forklift front end, different bucket.....

Are there different types of quick releases?

Does a Kobuta, JD, other NON-BLUE tractor attachment's quick release fit a NH quick release?

No documentation came with the FEL.

To my knowledge, i think the only type of QA system on the new NH compact or utility tractors is what they call the "skid steer" compatible. If I'm correct on this and that's what you have (which is what my 55DA has), then you can use any "skid steer" compatible attachment. These are the most popular out there that i've found so you should be in good shape when looking for attachments. Have fun!

Is your FEL a 16LA? Does the quick attach look like two hands pointing straight out with the thumbs turned inwards? The latest NHs have a european quick-attach, but I'm betting yours is the skid-steer standard. Those were standard on the NH tractors up until they changed their supplier. That type of adapter has always been an option on Kubota and JD, but it is not their standard proprietary system.

Can you take a picture?

Also, I got a manual with my 16LA. If you did not get one, I'd go back to the dealer and tell him I want the 16LA operator's manual. You need it.

On my TC55DA with a 270TL loader the QA worked on our skidsteer a 430 Case bucket i dont know if it the NH or the european QA system i just coupled it up to try it and then put some pressure on the ground to see if it was quick delatch but it held the weight of the tractor.Does any one know if there is a differance it dont want to use the wrong bucket or forks and have them unlatch while in use?Not saying that they would i just wondered if there was alot of differance.

Both the older 16LA and the new 270TL use the standard skid steer style quick attach system. This is the same standard as Bobact and Gehl and Mustang and most all the major skid steer manufacturers. Some things to consider when shopping for attachments is 1 - do you have or will you need additional plumbing down the loader for a 4 in1 bucket or for angling a dozer blade 2 - the weight of the attachments and the fact that they are further away from the tractor due to the quick attach plate will greatly reduce your overall lift capacity.
You may need a rear remote valve with quick couplers and hosing to the boom or you can install an electonic divertor switch at the joystick to divert the flow to the optional accesory momentarily, like a grapple or blade. Available from your local dealer from $500 to $1200 installed approx.

The new loader can be equiped with either the european or the bobcat style quick release. You specify which you want as this loader is sold world wide.

I'll put that fact into my "pea-sized" brain and try to remember.;)

Here is the QA on my tractor. I'm just interested in what I look for when surfing the web for attachments.
