what kind of hydraulic and gear earl do you think a Mitsubishi D2000 would use

taint gotta book on the thing, it has a common tranny and hydraulic system.

one thing for sure, if nobody know what Mitcheepussee specs, I'm gonna dump something in there and see what happens.

I suspect a standard UTF fluid would work. I can't say I have ever run across a Mitsubishi fluid spec before so I'm not sure if they have one of their own or use some other manufacturers spec.

I'll use and maintain this tractor as long as I can but I doubt I'll ever be able to get parts for it if she breaks.

Mitsubishi still makes industrial equipment. I'm not sure if they might be able to get parts for you or not. Might be worth a try when the time comes.
