Default LEAKY HYDRAULIC VALVE

MY 2004 MASSEY GC2300 HAS A LEAK IN THE VALVE FOR THE FEL . SOMETIME WHEN MOWING LOADER RAISES ON ITS OWN. I DONT KNOW IF IT IS PROBLEM WITH TRACTOR OR LOADER. ANYBODY ELSE HAD THIS PROBLEM. ALSO WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT OIL I CAN USE IN THE HDRAULICS BESIDES MASSEYS PERMATRAN

I would say the valve is sticking and not going to center very well. Look at the float detent, it may have gotten water in it and rusted up. That could also account for the leak if the rust has ruffed up the seal.
As far as fluids go, I have seen to many owners have problems with off brand fluids. Then when they changed back to Prematran, the problems went away. It isn't worth the difference in price for the head aches.
