Default Re: Best synthetic grease in a cartridge

disagree bigtime. I can use dino oil in my car and then synthetic will outperformce in NOX/OXD, higher TBN and lower wear #'s. Cold or Hot. This is what UOA'S show.

Problem I see is 99% of people do not test oil and have no clue. You could not GIVE me a dino oil..Sorry, been there done that.Keep your dino oil/greases people.

IMHO shaeffer's #238 has probably performed the best in my backhoe. I currenty use Cenex Maxtron EP synthetic blend (lithium complex) because the price was right for a case but the aluminum complex Shaeffers seemed to give most me the most hours before going limp. I've just been too lazy to locate/ buy a case. I know the rest of their products like their Supreme line of diesel engine oils are absolutely second to none.
