Front axle support greasing.

Hi everybody, I have a Kubota L3830 and the manual says to grease the two front axle support greasing points every 50 hrs. One point is located in front of the axle and one behind it. For the first 250 hours I missed the greasing point located on the rear: how much damage you think I've don, although I feel no problems running the tractor in 2 or 4 wheel drive. Another question: How much grease do I have to put: The manual says to open the breathing plug and let the grease came out but grease comes out only when I grease the greasing point located in the front of the axle. Is this valid also for the second point on the rear? Thanks very much for your time and expertise.

I think you will be fine.
The Rear support vents into the tube that encloses the front drive shaft. The forward support vents to the plug. See first attachment.
You can set the preload for the front axle rocking force to make up for any wear that has occurred in the pivot. See second attachment. KennyV.

You are right, you can not see it.
I would do the front first then put the same amount in the rear, Any extra will end up in the tube covering the drive shaft so do not try to pump it full. I do not know that this would cause any problems but I would think you will some day have a tube full of grease thou it may take more than a lifetime KennyV.
