JD 790 oil filter cross reference
Is there a cross reference for oil filter to fit a JD 790 (1998) that you can get at the auto parts?

Wix and NAPA gold are the same filters.. Just Add/remove a number from the Wix to get to the Napa number.. There are also a couple places online to order Wix filters..
In all of the filter comparisons/rating oil filters sites I found on the online Wix filters always rate in the top 3 as far as quality..

And, the WIX 51064/NAPA 1064 crosses to a Purolator L14459, Filter Finder Results, or entering 51064 at the Donaldson site https://dynamic.donaldson.com/webc/W...reference.html up pops P550162.
That's the same filter my 955 takes - I've been looking for alternatives for a while, but nothing so far.
The WIX/NAPA's, and even the OEM J-D's are good ones, but it's always nice to have options.

Thanks to all! Drove to my JD dealer on Friday (Black Friday), the only shopping I was doing, just to find them closed! AAARRRGGGHHH!!!!
Knew I could find the answer here. Now I don't need to make that trip anymore.
JD790 4x4, JD 70 FEL, BH 60 shredder, PHD, & other attachments.
