I bought a used mitsubishi mt180h tractor, but I don't have the owner's manual. What type of oil should I use in central Indiana and what oil filter does require.

I appreciate any input.

We run Shell Rotella 15W-40 in my father's MT160D. Oil filter will be the same as most small tractors. It should be any size that is equivalent to Purolator L14459.

I have an owner's manual for a mt180 D that I will look at when I get home. In the mean time, the folks on the mitsubishi forum can probably tell you. A while back someone put out a list of suppliers and cross reference numbers for a lot of Mitsubishi tractor parts.

The document I got off the internet is "Mitsubishi/satoh tractor information, parts, and support" compiled by Ed Krampitz, Jr. It says that the mt180 series has the Mitsu K3C, 3-cylinder, 990 cc engine and takes a NAPA 1334 oil filter. The regulars on this forum can probably be more help with the type of oil to use than I can.

Hope that is helpful.
