Mixing hydro/trans oil

Is it ok to mix different brands of hydraulic -transmission oils ? Or are they all the same to meet the demands of such a system.

It's best to use fluids that carry the manufgs specifications. Don't mix unless absolutely necessary. JD Fluids are especially critical.

What is it ? A JD model D or a JD 7320 ?
Something with wet clutches, wet brakes? Hypoid final drive gears?

It's a Yanmar SC2400. All the manual says is to use a hydraulic - transmission fluid (TF 500)

If you want to risk ruining wet fliction material? Use somehting that isn't wet clutch or yellow mwtal compatable.
CIH Hy-Trans or Deere Hi-Gard could be used in a pinch instead of "Bargain Bubba's" transmission or hydraulic oil.
