have proof kubota oil made by ashland oil

Well I started poking around wondering about oil for my tractor. I got to wondering who makes kub oil. I looked up the msds and looks like ashland makes kub. Branded oil. The part number matches the jug I have left over from the first oil change. 10001

Ashland Oil makes oil for a lot of people. A company provides the specs and Ashland Blends.

The above is from 08' I found rhe msds from 02 that have more specs in it like zinc content ect ect... more important stuff.
You are right though it could be made elsewhere now.

It is good to know. I assume Ashland makes it to Kubota' spec for additives.

Or just buy the lubricants and filters from Kubota as I do and not worry about it.
