Ford 9600 fuel leak

We have a 1975 ford 9600 6 cylinder tractor. While running, diesel fuel is coming out of the small tube (overflow) on the fuel injector pump. Engine is running fine but the fuel is coming out pretty fast out of the tube. The pump is exactly like my 5000 with the exception of the 2 extra ports (6cyl vs 4) Anyone with any experience with this problem?

Replace the fuel transfer pump which is bolted to the injection pump. Then change the oil in the injector pump.

Thank you, we pulled the lift pump off yesterday and fuel poured out from the injector pump. Manually pumped it and it definitely had a hole in it. Just happy it's a cheap fix!
