Default This isn\'t blue, what\'s up with this?

Needed another case of grease so today we stopped by the closest New Holland dealer. Told the parts guy that I wanted the "blue" New Holland grease cause it didn't look nearly as bad when it got smeared on the FEL as opposed to the darker grease that can be had at TSC. He hands me a sealed case and I head for home.

When I open the first tube I immediately see that it isn't "blue" at all. What's up with this?

So called a different New Holland dealer only to find out that New Holland had a change in the grease that they were using, hence no more "blue".

Anybody have a source for the original "blue" grease?

You could wear an orange disguise and head to a Kubota dealer. The Kubota urea hp is a nice light blue color.
All the best,
Martin

OK Mike, you did it. Just when I thought I'd heard it all on brand name loyalty, you take it one step farther. Blue grease for your New Holland!!!

Did you replace your lawn with Kentucky "Blue" grass?

Do you listen to the "Blues?"

I guess that since I have a yellow New Holland, that I'm "Yellow" with envy.

The Kubota grease is just that. I find it interesting that Pineridges used grease comes out blue. Whether mine is yellow, red, blue or black, it all comes out black when its been used.

If you are close to a Harley dealership you can get blue grease. Thier axel grease is blue and comes in a tube or tub. Don't buy the yellow that they sell. That is a thinner grease used for neck bearing in HD's.
