well I decided to go on ahead and put my woods groundbreaker bh on there. I guess I'll see if I get any hits on it. If I do then I'll probably try to follow behind it with my tractor but I thought I would start with something a little smaller priced.

I just checked out your listing, LEE. Sorry to hear you need to sell that
nice BH90-X....you have not even had it a year. If indeed your start bid
is $5K and you have no reserve, it will sell.

I have sold 2 TLBs, one $34K car, and my CADDigger on Ebay. All went
fine. I offered to let anyone back out of the deal when they arrived to
pick them up, if they were not satisfied. The biggest effort for me was
the many many emails (and tel calls) to deal with. By the end of my
auction, I had nearly 5000 hits and 200 watchers on the tractors.

I was just at my local dealer hoping to see a 90-X and take some
measurements....no dice.

I've bought & sold trucks, cars, tractors & tools on Ebay.
Most experiences are good. It's just like any other medium of advertising, buying or selling-most people are good and there's a few bad apples.

I didn't put a reserve on it but put the first bid low hoping to maybe get a couple people in on it to drive it up. This weekend I am going to take some pics of the other implements and put them on ebay as well. I don't know how well implements sell on ebay but it is probably worth trying. The tractor will probably be one of the last things to go. I've got it listed on craigslist but will probably end up having to either have a local auctioneer sell it or sell it via ebay. I'll probably try ebay first and just make the first bid fairly close to my absolute bottom dollar.

Serious bidders will wait until the auction is nearly over before bidding. Don't get nervous if there's no action for a few days.

yeah I have like 8 people watching it but no bids yet. I was hoping maybe in a couple of days it will get a bidder to at least start on it. Thanks.

LEE, I am one of your watchers.

Ebay buyers often get into a bidding frenzy, waiting until the last minute
to bid, rather than setting their own maximum and sticking with it. Good
for the seller.

The big problem with selling CUT b/h attachments is that all tractors are
different, requiring different subframes. The buyer has to make their
own subframe, pay someone else to do it, or buy one from Woods. Of
course, some buyers will be willing to use it on the 3-pt, though I have
always warned users not to.

If you are willing, I would still like to get some data off your hoe....
dipper cyl OD, and a couple of dipper stick dimensions: distance between
dipper cyl upper pivot pin and dipper pivot, and dipper pivot to the bkt
pin at the end of the dipper. I collect these #s to compare hoes.

This is a timely thread...
Using the input here, I just listed my TC18 on E-bay today. Wish me luck! A week or two from now I will hopefully have a good story and input to share. Granted, my tractor will probbably sell for less than your starting bid on your backhoe!

I have a bid on my bush hog but not the backhoe. I think I probably will though. There are alot of people watching it so hopefully it'll sell. I am going to sell a couple of items and get a little experience and then I'll post up what's left(including the tractor).

dfkrug.....I'll try to get a few of those measurements for you but it is out at the farm and it's almost an hour drive out there each way. I should be up there this weekend though.

I have bought rear blades, a 79 trans am, and numerous car parts off ebay. As a seller I have sold plenty of tools I got at auction.

I haven't looked at your ad yet, but if it is pickup only it really limits who can bid on it.

I've been lloking for a heavy duty 3pt post hole, but they are always too far away or are leinbachs. Not knocking leinbach, but I need a heavy duty one. Too much shale, clay, limestone, etc up here. I just can't afford a belltec, I think they are top of the line.
