I've been afraid to name my BX24. My co-workers, friends, and family already think I need an intervention with my tractor obsession. And unfortunately you folks don't qualify as a support group - you're more like the bad crowd I'm hanging around.....

Yeah, all 3 of my primary vehicles are named:

Wife's Dodge SRT4 is named "snorty" - it has factory dual exhaust w/ no mufflers. You'd be surprised how much a 4 cylinder motor rumbles with no mufflers.

My yellow Dodge Ram is "old yeller"

The Tractor is called "mother". This is from a child's book called "are you my mother?" A baby bird is searching for its mother and asked a smoke belching backhoe if its his mother. Its a stretch but thats how it got its name.

Yea, my better half says she is no longer a football widow (she now watches with me) - but is now a tractor widow.

"Little John" seemed to fit just right for mine. He is always trying to be like his big brothers and work hard forever. Obsession? Come on, at least we aren't sittin on our duffs watching tv, right. At least that's what I try telling my wife, she still don't get it. Maybe just a guy thing I guess.

Bigboys: My wife named my racing team Iron Mistress Racing years ago. She accused me of spending more time with that mistress than I did with her.

Well, I tossed around several names, but could never come up with a name that was appropriate. One day I walked outside and took one look at the machine and a name came to me. From that day on, I've been calling it "The Tractor". The name seems to fit better than any other name I could come up with.
On a serious note, No, I do not have a name for "The Tractor".
