buddy seat or instructional seats in a compact tractor cab

I had a loaner M6800 (tradein to my dealer that he loaned me when I was short on tractors) that had a few holes to the left of the operator seat that I was puzzled about. The dealer told me that it was for a buddy seat that the old owner doesn't trade in, he just moves it from one tractor to another when he trades every two years. Supposedly his wife rides in it. Wish I had pictures to share because I'd like to do something like it, too. It's not factory, just a one-off thing the guy dreamed up. Unless he's married to a midget it'd be fairly crowded though.

I've spent some time standing on the drawbar/3 point as instructie and instructor. Oh the good old days????????????????;)

I watched not long ago as my nephew stood in the bucket of Grandpa's bobcat, instructing his sister (her maiden voyage). That didn't last long!
