Put the blade on yesterday expecting snow but only got some sleet at my altitude. Did have some up higher though.

Took the day off last Friday, and spent about 8 hours hogging shooting lanes for the upcoming deer season.
Found out that when you're using modern equipment vs. old crap, you tend to mow more acreage than's probably necessary. Largest lane was about 90 ft wide x 250 yds long. Stuff was 3-6 ft tall ...regardless of equipment type/age, alot of the ground was so rough it was like riding a bucking bronco.

Makes the 51 mile drive to a job that seriously cuts into my seat time mostly worth it. Can't wait for retirement
