TODAYS SEAT TIME

This seat time post could go under build it yourself too. Pretty happy with my new "chicken Tractor". Built on a 4x4 pallet to be moved withe the carryall from the 3pt. Still gotta make it look pretty. But it is functional and worked slick.

How many chickens will it handle?

Using fuzzy chicken math, I'd say about 6 full sized birds. But I will be moving it around and letting them free range some as well.

You have inspired me to want to do the same, egging me on, so to speak.

I'm going to have to come up with some flex and anchoring at the bottom of the chicken yard fence, as this ground here is lumpy and our raccoons are versatile and quite resourceful. I've thought about capturing a young one and training it to weld and run a nail gun.

Weather man said dusting for last night to early morn...7" of new fallen snow instead.

Wow! You got lucky. All we got was a little dusting on the top of the grass.

We just got rid of our chickens as part of our move. We thought about doing a chicken tractor here, but the dogs would be all over them. We had a 4x6 coop and a 15x50 stationary run before. Not feasible at the new place.
