Got some great work with my two favorite attachments, the grapple and landplane, had to move some fallen limbs and then touch up a driveway, works out really well,

Sunday was spent doing some of this...

IMAG0357.jpg

Three separate loads from a space about 10ft long by maybe 40ft. There's another load's worth along the edge that I picked out after I was done raking and smoothing the service out. I'll remove them once the grass has grown and settled in.

Did some road work in the woods today. This skid trail used to have a flat stretch after the wall then a dip just before it started to climb so that there was a short but very steep pitch coming up out of the dip at the start of the climb. I didn't like going over it and some days I couldn't.
So to fix it I started pushing dirt and rocks down from the top up around the corner until I filled the dip and tapered the flat section. Now I have a nice smooth rise which I like much better.

I cleaned the tractor up last night, so I could pull the grand marshal in the local jamboree parade today

Day or two late, but, I loaded the tractor with the stump bucket grapple on the trailer and went over to my son's place. Took out a number of juniper plants. Those roots did not want to let go...But, like the song says, "We shall overcome" and we did....Then I loosened up the dirt on the slope and moved rock with the bucket. Landscape cloth laid down and covered with topsoil. Will plant grass next week. PICs, I know, Son took some but has not posted them yet. Will post when avail if not too long in future.
Loaded the trailer again and went home. Good day it was and about 2 hrs of seat time.

Thats a very nice tractor, what was the float that you were towing?

Phil, Are you making a sit for a house, or just clearing some land? Our property is surrounded by stone walls on all sides, and it's amazing that they made them without a tractor, or equipment. Thats a big boulder. We had to move one at the corner of one of the gates in our stone wall, and it bent the hydraulic arms on a tractor, however somehow they put it in place there..
I went from this:

Now I'm moving these:

To put a stone wall here.

Thank you
It was the float for the grand marshal. Was the local funeral home that has been severe the area for over 100 years.

Is it really a old hay wagon that has been redone, fitted with bus seats and rails with a fold up little set of stairs. Sorry no pics of the stairs. It will hold 20-24 people on it.
