Yep, push the joystick all the way forward and the boom floats. Digging angle is the curl function, tilt is aux hydraulics slide switch on the joystick.

That is a 3 point to SSQA adapter on the boxblade

thats nice i lick the tilt feature Would be really slick if the box blade could be turned around like a snow pusher

Pushing with a box blade On a FEL doesn't work well, unless it is loose dirt. Pulling backwards with the arms in float and using curl to change the digging or dragging angle of the box blade does work well.

That is the way it works on this machine, but it is front wheel drive, so a rear drive or 4WD might be different.

This was a pile of loose dirt, 4' box blade.

Ripper teeth down, float mode, backing up.

I put my neighbors box blade on the 3PH and smoothed up some of the worst rutted spots between his place and mine. Still too wet with snow still on the sides in places so I'll need to do the whole road in a few days when it dries out.

This morning I cut the last wood I am going to get for quite a while. Won't be any more seat time untill the frost finishes coming out of the ground and things dry up. I took the chains off and put the tractor in the garage. Time to do maintenence on the equipment and all those little motors of summer. I am looking forward to some warmer weather

Today I decided to do a little roadside trimming under the powerline while I wait for spring.

Today I decided to do a little roadside trimming under the powerline while I wait for spring.

Seams like Mother Nature wants to drag it out this year. Spring is coming, but every time it looks like the weather is going to warm up it doesn't. Like everyone else around here my driveway needs work yet there's still too many places that are still thawing.
