Yesterday's seat time was sad and bittersweet. Early tuesday morning my mother-in-law was killed in a car accident. We spent wednesday making funeral arrangements and mowing the cemitary where she will be buried. Hadn't been mowed all summer grass and weeds knee high. Had to use weedeaters it was so high. My wife said we will be taking care of it from now on if her mom is gonna be there. The hay field the cemitary is located in on top of a knob looked bad and is needed for parking so I asked the owner for permission to brush hog it down. Which brings me to yesterday's seat time... sharpened the blades on the mower for a nice grass cut and loaded up. Mowed off the knob around the cemitary hoping that my MIL would like it, as she always kept a yard a golf course would be proud of... burial is saturday afternoon. RIP Donna "Dot" Wright
diesel, sorry to hear of your loss...
my prayers go out for your family
that's very nice/respectful of you to take care of the cemetery
i'm sure it will be much appreciated by all
Diesel, sorry to hear of your loss. We have a little family graveyard that I had to prepare for my cousin's funeral earlier in the summer. When you are getting ready for a funeral it isn't the same as the regular mowing.
Didn't get much seat time. But i got to use my self propelled 85hp 4wd cherry picker to move my engine. I then determined it also moves cars. Needed to get this out of the barn to work on some other stuff. Its been sitting and I've slowly been pulling parts as i need them for my wife's beater.
