Ah yes pallet forks quite possibly my favorite attachment. My wife would say New Holland Blue doesn't anyone make a nice orange compressor to match the tractor. I still need to paint my Splitfire Orange so it matches the rest of my power tools in the barn. Enjoy that new compressor :D
Got to use the tractor to unload the new air compressor.

Pulled some big brush back on the 3rd, see post #2758: TODAYS SEAT TIME - Page 276

Decided not to remove the tree puller and put the grapple on the V417, so I used the brush fork on the TORO to pick up the brush.

Good view of the ends of the forks from the seat.

My sister's coworker is on a week's vacation. She is putting in long, stressful hours at work, going in early and working late. She called to ask me to take my RFM off the 3930 so she could do some Bush Hog therapy. I mowed right in front of the house before taking off the RFM, even though I had mowed it less than a week ago. It is only raining every other day now, but the grass is still growing like crazy.

I am a big fan of brush hog therapy... got a bit this evening after work. Also changed the oil and filter... 3005 was a tad over due for its 50 hour break in change at 54.2 hrs. Then brush hogged till dark.

Finally got around to taking care of a big "leaner". An old oak blew over a while back, about 40' or so long & maybe 24" at the base. It had been standing dead wood for quite a while and after a storm blew through it ended up leaning on a sweet gum that it bent over & partially splintered at the base.

After cutting it through about a third way up from the base, I used the ripper on the 1025R to snag the still leaning portion to help pull/twist it loose while driving forward. I cut most of it into roughly 4' sections & carried them out gripped by the ripper & thumb. That's how they'll get loaded on the truck later (a nephew wants it for firewood). It would not have been any fun dealing with it without the backhoe w/ripper & thumb...
