TODAYS SEAT TIME

I built a set of steps going down to the water. Used pieces of millstones for steps and the railing is a tree that we harvested that grew that way. Then I made a bench on the dam out of 2 foundation stones with an old fireplace lentil as the bench. I don't think anyone will be making off with it.. Put some gnarly ruts in the dam that I will have to fix come spring.

Got about 5 or 6 inches of snow yesterday and overnight, so I had a bit of seat time clearing snow this afternoon.

Great set of steps and rail. Bench too, for that matter. All would pass as art in my book.

Thanks so much you guys, I never really thought of it as art. I just didn't want to use that tree for firewood. I have been moving it out of my way for over 2 years and knew some day it would have a purpose.
