Spraying 2,4,D on Kandy Korn

I have used 2,4,D on field corn, but never my sweet corn, which is the Kandy Korn (se) variety. Has anyone ever sprayed Kandy Korn with 2,4,D and if so, did it cause any damage to the corn itself?

I think it should be OK since Kandy Korn is a sugar enhanced variety and not a super sweet, but thought it better to check around.
