I have recently purchased a Kubota b8200e (two wheel drive). I have started changing fluids, and I don't see an easily recognizable drain for the tran/dif/lift unit. I know it takes udt transmission fluid, but I don't know how much or where to drain out the old fluid. Any help on this will be most appreciated. Thanks

This is just a guess as I'm not familiar with the B8200 (I have a B7100)

Take a look under the tractor at the rear where the axles exit the main body casting. On the B7100 there is a drain plug on each side at the lowest point which drains the entire hydraulic/lube reservoir.

Hope that helps until a better reply comes along.

Hi

Thanks for the information on the b7100. I did a more detailed search after your pointer and found the drain. Its at the rear of the diff and hidden by the drawbar plates. I may be able to get it out without taking down the drawbar, but it doesn't look promising.

Thanks again
