One of my first significant projects for the 110 included prep for re-doing some concrete. Part of that is to remove a big chunk of existing concrete. I did not want to require it be broken in order to move it. Anyway, I couldn't lift it directly with the forks, but with a chain and moving the center of mass closer, it was able to lift it enough to drag it where I wanted. I think the 110 has a few more lbs of lift capacity in the loader than the 4520 that I was originally considering. This time, every bit of capacity was needed. I don't think anything less would have managed. Any idea how much this concrete probably weighed? This was as high as it would go...

Nice pics, no doubt you had quite a load. I am often in same boat needing just a littttllle more tractor for some of my side jobs. I'd would guess ~ 2500# just by the photo its hard to tell..

While demo'ing a large slab last year this is all my FEL wanted:

I recently moved a 500 gallon concrete septic holding tank, no pics I drug it part of the way but got the job done non the less...

I tried to move some 2400# pieces a year or more ago and couldn't. But, the terrain was a lot less level that what you had and I didn't get as good a geometry for the lift/drag.

The other thing going against me was they were in my neighbors yard and he & his son were out there trying to help me, but they knew very little about rigging and a lot about standing in very dangerous places.

My guess is that piece is 2400+ pounds.

Whoa... that's alot of rock, there! That probably weighs as much as your 2520! :D

I was moving pallets of landscaping blocks last Spring when I tied into one that; even at 2,000 rpm the FEL went straight into relief! If the loader won't pick it up... it'll let you know.

Thanks for the pics.

I use my dads new Johndeere CT322 compact track skidsteer to move the heavy stuff. It has a tipping load of 6000+ lbs making it easy to move stuff that large. Last night, I moved some 500 to 1000lbs boulders around the ranch. The CT322 picked them up thike they were feathers. I also heared that Johndeere came out with the CT315 for smaller jobs in tight quarters. Nice little machines. I do favor the CT332 because of the power you feel when you get in the machine. Good luck with your new 110! I have heard that is is like the 3720. Is that true?
