Default triangular tractor didn\'t cut it!

I tried to use my Kubota on a job yesterday. While my tractor is set up perfect for around home, it didn't work well for "work"...

We had to excavate two pads, each 4'x33'x12"(for concrete). Sounds easy enough; the soil condidtions were pretty good... Well, I was wrong.

My B8200 has a 4' wide loader. I have turf tires, which are set narrow, but make the foot print about 4.5'. Then, I have a 5' scraper. This combo works nicely around home, alhtough I would like to switch ou to R4's($900 for tires/rims is preventing...).

We were able to cut the area, but we were wide for 4' forms for concrete; we have to back fill tomorrow.

Sometimes I wish I had my 48" tread width, and 48" scraper. But it is hard to justify, because the setup I have works great at home. I was so excited about getting a little income back from my tractor too...
