What\'s your favorite stuff?
Every generation has it's favorite stuff, mine is RTV I use it so much that my wife and kids have a running joke everytime I use or suggest the use of RTV. I guess it's poetic justice because we used to give my father the bussiness about his favorite stuff........tape,he just loved tape, his eyes would light-up at the sight of it,now I wonder what this generation will have for it's favorite stuff,I hope it's not Howard Stern...............Mike

Re: What\'s your favorite stuff?
I think I get the point here, maybe
Here's a few things that I really like:
WD-40
Great-Stuff
5 min epoxy
Hot glue
There is something that really makes my eyes 'light-up'.
Strangely enough, it's flashlights. I have dozens of them. When I find one that I like, I usually buy several and put some away unopened. My dad collects some strange things too. He has three compound bows, but has never gone hunting. He has forty fishing poles, but only fishes once a year. He also had about a hundred belt buckles in the 70's (probably still has them).

The products I would endorse:
Rain-X
Quicken
Cordless drills (any brand)
Palm Pilot
Zip ties (wire ties)
Air nailers
Probably more but it I haven't had enough coffee yet.
Oh yea... coffee

PB Blaster. No self-proclaimed wrencher should be without it.
Oh, and don't forget about beer!

GSS, ya got me on that one. What is PB Blaster and where can I get some? As a semi-self proclaimed wrencher I feel an irresistable need to have some of this stuff

Re: What\'s your favorite stuff?
It's basically a penetrating oil. Soak a rusty bolt with it and it's alomost guaranteed to come off. All the older tractor guys use it to free up stuck engines and the like. Any decent auto parts or hardware store should have it.
PS: Love the house. I'm in the process of restoring a 1877 farmhouse...
