Hi, have a montana, 5264. its the old technology, (60's) the 3pt assemply has a large flat spring, that can be locked via a hinged wedge. For running stuff like a grader blade the wedge is inserted, for running a plow using draft control, its removed.

Unfortunately, i cant remove it !, followed the instructions in the manual (lift the 3pt, and raise the float / position levers, remove wedge) but its stuck.

when i inserted it, it would flip in and out easily, now its seems there is spring pressure on it from the big flat spring, and I cannot figure out how to release it.

Please help !

THANKS

You might be better of posting this in the Montana forum.

I can't even picture that assembly, but it might be worth a phone call to your dealer. This probably isn't the first time this problem has arisen.
