    DAVE: the filter i took off was kubota, it was slightly heavier but that was probably from the oil that was still in it, also it was marked"made in u.s.a" if so then by whom? i agree, change the oil and filter often, for that amt.of $ and a 1/2 hr work , cheap insurance
