4-1 FEL Circuit Rocker Switch is Possibly Bad

I posted this on the parts forum and saw no answers..there may be none. But wanted to try here also. So please excuse repeat.

I have been researching the internet to find what a 4-1 circuit rocker switch is, where and how much. I am doing this before asking for service form the JD dealer. I recently purchased the JD 3320 from a private seller and he will pay, but I would rather keep his cost low.

The seller's dealer inspection said "the 4-1 circuit voltage - rocker switch is possibly bad." Not sure why they did not fix it before delivery and when they had it. The seller has been sick for a week and had a friend handle the inspection and delivery to me.

Does anyone have information on this? They also said the right warning light was inoperable, but I assume that is a bulb.

I spoke to the inspecting dealer about their FEL inspection that showed a circuit problem indicating a bad rocker switch.

As we talked he noted the supply hoses must be switched when there is a change in use from BH to FEL or the reverse. Then he said it could have been this problem that caused the reading thus there is probably nothing wrong wit the rocker switch.

So I am backing off the need to know about the rocker switch as it appears it is just a need to switch hoses.

Slow down...The pictures you posted before of your new machine showed an aftermarket WR Long joystick handle. There should be no "changing hoses" from the FEL to the BH either. Please post some detailed pictures of the handle and valve setup.

Kennyd is the resident expert so I will just add that I have never heard of someone having to switch hoses between BH and FEL use. Me suspects the system is not set up properly.

Kennyd, I saw a new JD 110 with a WR Long 4in1 bucket and hydraulics on a dealer lot several years ago. Was that a JD option at one time?

JD has had the front hydraulics on the 110 since the beginning as far as I know-and I do because I have a friend that has one and I have quite a few hours on it.

I am sure the dealer added the 4n1, they must be a dealer for them (WR Long)-and it's probably cheaper that the Frontier 4n1.
