They are Swedish. And not too far from me judging by the accent.

"... If it had been a Ferguson the transmission would have broken..." "...Ford axles are strong... " "... Now we are back to where we started yesterday morning. So much for a weekend of collecting firewood..."

    Funny video!

I like that gin pole rig on the tractor.
Is that a typical Swedish attachment?
I assume it gets used like this:

    That's the problem with trouble.
It always starts out as such fun."

It's a logging winch with a gin pole crane, yes.
They are not uncommon, but nowadays mainly used by small farmers and land owners for small-scale log retrieval, mainly firewood. It helps a lot with the higher winch point to avoid logs getting caught in stumps, stones, ditches etc. As seen in the first video it can be used to load logs on the trailer, but can also be used just for winching:

Nowadays it's more common with a forwarder crane on the trailer:
    YouTube - Efter stormen Gudrun
    YouTube - Huggarvagn S 7,0 ton

Or converting your ATV to a mini-forwarder:
    YouTube - kranman T1700

I can think of all kinds of uses for that Super Dexta - very nice!
But I have to wonder how long it would be before I really damaged something expensive with it. The garage door has seen enough of my FEL & ROPS.
