I installed a Tilt meter on my BX2200 yesterday evening and gave it a try today. I was very surprised to find out that I have a couple of areas that are over 30 degree slopes. Most of the property is 15 – 20 degrees. I’ve been driving my Power King and Wheel Horse over this property for more than 40 years. Never realized that the slope was so steep. I believe I have gained a false sense of security over the years.

I bought the Tilt meter because I now have a FEL that raises the center of gravity; and because I have two sons that will be using the tractor. I want them to be aware of the amount of slope there is. They are both sensible adults but we will have a discussion about safe operation on slopes this weekend.

I mounted the meter on the grill guard where it is in clear view.
