I picked up a pto compressor from northern tools. It is a small unit and for field work, fillling tires, blowing dust from filters and such works quite well. It will pump plenty of pressure, but not to many cfm, should work for a grease gun though.

Since I got my Lincoln cordless electric luber (gun), I have tossed out both my small and medium hand pumpers. With the hose, the gun can be on the ground, making hard-to-get-at fittings a cinch. I highly recomend this over air. A little pricy, maybe, depends on how you look at it.
