We always had an old farmall, so little experience with the 3pt hitch. I was wondering if people have bent or broken the shafts the lower lift arms attach to on the tractor. I'm thinking of making a blade or subsoiler, but I would imagine that could cause much impact forces on these, they dont look the largest, and if so can you replace them....

Most are stronger than you might think and operate in tension which doesn't require them to be very large to get the job done. Replace them? Sure, I would suggest that if you had the need to consider top n tilt hydraulics instead of screw adjustment OEM parts.

Just remember that the tractor and 3PH are built for pulling forward, not pushing in reverse.
Although breaking 3PH components isn't too common, the majority of the breakages were when pushing in reverse (hitting an immovable object when pushing snow, for example).
This isn't to say not to push...just use some common sense if and when you do...
