Just looking for a little affirmation on the break-in for the Yanmar in my 2210:
I'm on my way out to change the oil @ 10.2 hours on the clock. The engine and tractor have been used under one form of load, or another, since the first hour. Somewhere in the first two hours, I ran the 62C mower for about an hour at various RPMs. Shortly there after, at around 3 hours, I used the machine to push 2-1/2 feet of snow for several property owners. With snow that deep, I clocked about 3 or 4 hours according to the "use it like you stole it" philosophy.
The oil is pretty black, and my gut, and memory of a few earlier threads, tells me the time to the oil is change is now. The owner's manual is silent about this topic.
Any comments or advice?
