After I get my loader off the tractor and before I disconnect the quik connects I shut the tractor off and then run the joystick in all the positions so the hydraulic fluid equalises. Then when you come back to hook up again there is no pressure in the hoses. I have even had times where the bucket has settled while sitting on the ground and I have had trouble. I put a rag over the hose ends and tap them on the ground to release the pressure. You won't hurt anything by doing that.
