5403 vs 5075E?? and problems
Hello all,
I'm looking to trade tractors in a week or so due to the "monday morning" tractor I bought last summer. The 09' 5403 MFWD that I own has been in the shop for about the same time I've owned it. I'm working on the seconcd set of front axle seals and the third injector pump on a tractor with 300 hrs. These issues are in addition to a leaking rear axle seal, plugged fuel line, and front differintial misalignment which caused grinding and more leaking.
My question is...Is there anyone out there that has any information on the 5075E and these similar problems? I'm a bit nervous about trading to get another machine that spends this much time in the shop vs working for me. The leaking axle seals and the Injector pump leaking fuel are my main concern.

I bought a 5075E last fall and it's been great so far.

This is an old post - but, did not generate any replies. The OP would have been more informed if he posted in the JD owner/operator forum.
Nonetheless, I haven't read about any of the issues he's raised with the 5000E series tractors.
