My brand new JD 3005. But I have craftsman mower with 1200 hours and still runs. Not really a tractor but it's been reliable.

Re: Best Tractor That You Have or Had?
Hands down, my 1951 Ford 8n. It had 1200 hours on it when I got it about 20 years ago from the widow of the original owner. It still wears most of its factory paint and has not slept outdoors too often. It is pushing 2000 hours now, and I use it once a week or so for hauling firewood, from fall until spring. I am always amazed at how easy that old flat-head starts in the middle of winter on 6 volts. From May 15 - July 4 or so, I use it on my 2-row JD corn planter. There still aint a modern machine that would do those tasks any better. In my opinion, that tractor represents the high-water mark for the Ford tractor co. From the time they introduced the NAA in 1953, they continually lost ground to the competition before finally going belly-up in the 1990's. My almost-new JD 4120 is a fine machine also, the 4wd and loader are great, but it dont hold a candle to that old 8n when it comes to hauling firewood or planting corn. Its tough to beat my 1952 Farmall cub for cultivating corn, and my 1942 Allis Chalmers C trike is great in the woods for hauling logs.
