How about this one?
Atlantic Nationals 2012-.jpg
I think my shaky hand has blurred the badge enough to make it unreadable.

I'll admit I was being lazy when I posted the pix. You definitely know your trucks though. OK, what is the model name for that Hayes COE with the Mack cab?

That would be a Clipper 100.
And the cab is not Mack per say, both Brockway, Mack, and Hayes shared the cab. I dont know which one made the design.....

RALPH - from South Africa.

Give the man a cigar!

That would be a Clipper 100.

Of the three names, Mack is the largest, so I'm guessing the cab is theirs, and Brockway and Hayes used it with minor modifications. Another cigar to the Brockway Kid for getting the Hayes model name right.

I was looking at a video of a few 953-S' being repowered with modern Cummins engines last night.

Herringchoker: The badge looks like a Chevrolet to me too. Beyond that I know nothing of the model and year other than it's probably WW2 vintage.

Sorry guys, I've been away unexpectedly for a couple of days.
Brockwaykid and mjncad, your eyes are definitely better than mine. You are both right - that's a WWII vintage Canadian Military Pattern (CMP) Chev C-30. The CMP's were standardized trucks built by both GM and Ford in Canada to a British specification, each using their own mechanicals. Except for minor details, they looked identical. The Ford version of this one would be an F-30. They came in 4 different payload classes, 8 cwt (800 lbs.), 15 cwt (1500lbs.), 30 cwt (like the one in the picture),and 60 cwt (3 ton). There was also a gun tractor on the 3 ton chassis, labelled either CGT or FGT, depending on who built it. They were widely used by Canadian, British, Australian, New Zealand and other armed forces from 1939 to 1945, and later.
