Starting Problem
When I got my new MF in January I ran it some but had no real use for it in the winter. It did this thing where when you went to start it you could here the solonoid click but it would'nt turn over. Try it the the second time and she'd start right up. I ran it for an hour and it would start right up. Let it sit for a few days, same problem.
Talked to the dealer, he made some suggestions that didn't pan out.
I'm convinced the battery's OK, I'm convinced the starter is OK and I'm convinced the alternator's OK.
I don't know about the solonoid. This is the easiet starting diesel I've ever owned.
Any suggestions?Gear Up and Throttle Down.

Re: Starting Problem
Have you checked the ground straps? Some have had problems with those breaking on Massey's.
