PTO needs to be lubed? Belts too tight? Misaligned belts?

The bearings are probably siezing in your electric PTO.

Isn't hard to replace, but the price will knock your socks off.

The only 2 other problems I had with my old 2160 (regarding belts), is that sometimes the belt would twist on the vertical pulleys below the front of the engine and burn up the belts.

2nd problem was the belt tension on the deck itself, the belt would stretch just a tad, and although the tensioner would take up the slack..........the back of the belt would rub on the bracket that connects the deck to the tractor. A brand new belt would leave about 1/16 of an inch of clearance.
