bobcat B250
Bobcat B250,{earthforce250} Still can;t find problem with no brakes and little drive power. Purchased parts and service manuals. They refer to problems of "main relief valve", etc but in the hundred or so pages never show any of these items in thier locations, In addition these manuals never describe the function of the many "valves" they show. The manuals are of little value unless you ned to know where an obvious nut is. Anyone know of a web site with good details or some other publication that shows the function of these various items. The machine stilll has NO hydro brakes and little power foward or reverse. PLEASE Help Thanks

Re: bobcat B250

Probably best to post on the Bobcat Construction Equipment Forum. If you're lucky SSDoxie will happen along with a response.

Re: bobcat B250
No hydraulic brake with no or sluggish drive indicates low or no charge pressure. Possible charge pump failure, charge relief stuck, flushing valve stuck open, or hydrostatic pump worn so by-passing internally.
Here are couple pages about testing charge pressure and flusing valve. If charge pressure is low and will not adjust, the pump set needs to come out for inpsection.b250 charge pump, flushing valve test.pdfDennis
