I have a vermeer 605 c. Its 1975 or so. Last year it was working really good. It seemed i could start the bales without too much trouble. After about 50 bales it seemed like it was harder to start them and the front roller would jam. I replaced one chain for that roller. This year i made one bale and seemed ok but now its jamming again. Do I need to tighten the chain or a different chain to make it easier to start or is it all operator error. Also i noticed that both the front rollers are very close on one end but almost an inch apart at the other end. Should the gap be even. I dont know alot about this baler or how to adjust it so any advice is great.
