The tires on a manure spreader that drive the webbing are put on "backwards" i e, the chevron is frowning looking at them from the tongue end. Apparently it makes a difference if the axle is turning the wheel as on a tractor or, as on the spreader the wheel is turning the axle /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
