Re: small tractor backhoe - in clay???
Whenever I question whether or not my tractor is big enough for a job I just remember that I COULD dig it with a shovel. The question isn't if the tractor can do it, the question is how much time do I want to spend.

Re: small tractor backhoe - in clay???
I love small backhoe for non-invasive land surgery, I keep my 16 inches real clean with twice a year new hi-gloss paint + teflon spray. It does help a lot with wet/moist clay digging.
