I was using a bush hog attached to my 1981 Kubota L275 tractor. I overloaded the bush hog, causing the tractor to stop. Now when I try to restart the tractor, I get nothing - it doesn't even try to crank. The battery charge lamp and the engine oil pressure lamp both light up, but nothing else happens. And naturally I can't lift the bush hog without the engine on. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

The first thing is are you sure you cut your PTO off? As I'm sure you know if you leave the PTO switch on it won't crank. Next I would start checking that the battery is good with a meter and the fuses. Hope this helps.

Turns out the starter switch went bad. Replaced the switch and the tractor started fine.

Thanks.
