B7100
Just bought a B7100 with 2000 hrs. Runs great but would like recommendations on what oils to use for engine, case oil, gear oil. Standing by, thanks much.

you could use kubota oils and filters they are $$$ iwhen i did my 50 hr service it cost 430 bucks 12 gals on tranny oil 12 quarts of motor oil plus filters or yoy could run any name brand oil per say what ever brand you ran in your car or truck make sure it a diesel engine oil for the motor as far as tranny tsc brand works well for the $$

I have a B7100 that I bought new in 1979 and have about 950 hrs on it. I use Rotella 5w-40 syn in the engine or use any diesel rated oil (1 gallon), Kubota UDT in the trans(3 gals), radiator (1.2 gals) and I use Mobil 1 75w-90 syn gear oil in the front diff and hubs(you can use UDT or dino gear oil)(doesn't take much).
I buy my filters from Kubota, they are small and not expensive. There's a trans screen that you should look at and clean on the right side bottom of trans.

Well my 1980 B7100 had 2200 hrs on it, with clock not working, when bought, 15 years ago. I figure it's now done about 4000 hrs. If you haven't already, download a free service manual which has the oil specs . Seriously though, these little tanks would probably keep running well using banana skins.

Rotella T 15W-40 for the engine ($13/gal at WalMart), Supertech 80W-90 gear oil for the axles (I think about $12/gal at Walmart), and Universal Tractor Transmission and Hydraulic fluid for the tranny/hydraulics ($42/5 gal bucket from Sam's).
