    Default Kubiota M7040SUDH hydraulic pump

Hi, does anybody know how to modify a Kubota M7040SUDH tractor's hydraulic system, specifically the hydraulic pump? the existing 11 gpm pump if far from adequate! the 3pt lift and loader just does not cut it. Thanks!

Maybe your tractor is not feeling well. You have a 5,000 lb tractor that should lift 3,300 (at 24") on the 3pt and 2,900 (at the pins) on the FEL. Considering the basic weight and footprint of the tractor, many people would consider those specs to be adequate for a small ag utility tractor and from what I can see, the other big manufacturers (deere, NH, Case-IH, to name a few), are pretty much in line with that on their 70-75 hp utilities. Their implement pumps are also in the 10-12 gpm range. If you need to lift 5,000 lbs on the 3 pt, for example, I think you need more tractor than a 75 hp utility.
