A bit of a rube-goldberg, but I have never seen another just like it, and so glad I found it..

That's awesome also I've never seen one like that!!!

Is it me or does that rear tire look a little low.

The pressure is right about where it should be and is the same on both sides. There's a bit of slope to the drive and that might give the appearance of a low tire.

Roy,

It looks real nice! Now you have to use it but I am guessing that won't be too hard.

Did you get a good deal on the 4520 with the 400X FEL and 448 BH? How many hours on it? Who's aftermarket cab is it?

I paid about $25K for the machine...an OK deal, but not a great deal. It's got about 2075 hours on the tractor, but very little on the backhoe. Runs great...very strong. It has definitely been a working tractor and does show it in spots...but nothing a little touch up paint can't fix.
The cab is a Curtis. I'm sure it's not as well integrated as a factory cab, but it keeps me out of the cold and snow.

One thing I have noticed....the Deere Powertech engines don't start as easily as the Yanmar engines when it gets below 25 degrees. I use the block heater for an hour or so...then it starts fine.

Re: BACKHOES LETS SEE THEM, Trusty L39 getting back together!

I did not get on a tractor or machine all weekend, very unusual.

Beautiful place, Mike. Wondering if that third picture is an illusion... it looks like you've picked up the entire front end of the L39 with the backhoe.

Nope caught a piece of Ledge, L39 got a strong hoe, but A CAT 336 most likely would have not been able to break it without a hammer. I was supervised it could lift front like that also! I have an excavator, but figured it would have been futile. I was just buying electrical.
