It all depends on your local conditions and what you want to do with it.:)

If you have weight on it a good angle and working in nice black dirt be prepared to sit in one spot.

As long as you keep the wheels down. :D

7 to 8' is typically the functional limit .

You probably could pull a light duty finishing disc on level ground (maybe). A heavy 12' double offset or single offset disc would be a load in transport position.

I'm able to pull my 13-ft Minneapolis Moline KS1300 wheel disc in dry soil conditions with my 2008 Mahindra 5525 (55 hp engine, 45 hp pto). I cut it down to about 8-ft wide so I can handle soft soil and it works fine.

Good luck.

I doubt you'd get much use at all out of a 12' disc behind that tractor. A nice heavy 6-7' 3pt disc would be ideally suited to a 1530.

I agree.

It seems like cutting out the tractor tracks by 6-12" on each side about catches it for most small tractors.

We had Ford Flex-I-Hitch 6.5' and 7.5' disks for our Ford 801 tractors and when cutting to the axle with a drag in 3rd gear they got a work out.

If you got a good deal try trading it for an 8' unit as your tractor will be much happier with that size.

I have a 13 foot Case tandem disk for my Kubota L5740 and it is about all I can handle. I also have a 6.5' 3 point that I bought for my L3710 before trading it on the larger tractor. The small disk was rights for the small tractor - it would never have pulled the tandem wheel disk. I have about 1,000 pounds extra weight on the tandem so it cuts in really good but more power would be nice.
